Overview

The Good Partner ("the App") is a multiplayer party game. We take your privacy seriously and collect the minimum data necessary to make the game work.

What we collect

Display name: The name you enter when joining a game. This is shared with other players in your session.
Game choices: Your in-game selections (A or B) during each round. These are used to generate your roast and are shared with other players in your session.
Session data: Archetype selection, meter values, and timing data necessary for gameplay.

What we do not collect

Email addresses or real names
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Analytics or tracking data
Cookies (the website uses no cookies)

How data is stored

Game data is stored on our server for the duration of the session. Session data may persist after the game ends for operational purposes but is not used for any purpose beyond running the game. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

Data shared with other players

During a game session, other players in the same game can see: your display name, your archetype, and your round-by-round choices (after each round completes). Your personalised roast is only visible to you.

Third-party services

The App uses Google Fonts for typography on the website and in the app. Google may collect standard web request data (IP address, browser type) when fonts are loaded. No other third-party services are used.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
